Villa Serenidad began as a home firmly rooted in the 1990s and was completely reimagined through a full gut renovation with one clear vision: to make it feel as though it belonged in Spain. Designed for a young family of four, the home balances old-world character and elevated materials with the warmth and livability of everyday family life. We transformed the kitchen, bathrooms, and living spaces with architectural beams, Saltillo and wood flooring, handmade zellige tile, a zellige mosaic primary shower floor, unlacquered brass fixtures sourced from Morocco, and a softly feminine pink bathroom designed for the couple’s two young daughters. Richly veined Calacatta Viola marble brings drama to the kitchen and butler’s pantry, while every material throughout the home was chosen to create warmth, depth, and a sense of history. The result feels collected rather than newly constructed—soulful, timeless, and unmistakably Spanish.
